Catering Education
We are proud of our patronage and support for a body called The Professional Association for Catering Education, (or PACE for short) - an organisation that represents over 450 Colleges within the UK offering Hospitality and Catering courses.
Acting as PACE's procurement advisor, Acquire demonstrates its commitment to education and training by providing comprehensive advice to all PACE's members on best procurement practice, which members also find useful for inclusion in their teaching courses.
Jim Armstrong, Chief Executive of PACE, is in no doubt of the importance of Acquire's contribution: "As we are all well aware, educational institutions operate under extreme financial constraints, and the impact Acquire has upon catering and hospitality departmental budgets is profound".
Importantly, Acquire dispenses this advice at no charge to the Colleges, since it is all part of the benefits of being a member of PACE.
